Same with hardcore though so much of the stuff people think are the best tunes are originally trance/scouse/italian and unsuspecting ravers think this super wkd producer thought it all up by himself. There has also been a remix of an Elvis song, always on my mind!ĭoes original dance music exist anymore or todays sooper producers just use good old tried and tested: chorus of old tune + new oober koolio brums = mtv danceĪye plenty gd original dance music just seems easier to impress crowds with stuff they half no for most dj's, i think this has got a lot to do with why a lotta people see all dance music as a joke. Sweet dreams was 70s I though, but there is a hardcore remix from 1989, making it one ofthe first hardcore tracks around, and an 80s remix lol
Just like that shit there more but that will take to much time to typ:P
Hold me now is Highlander (bass d and king matthew remix) Kaos - autumn again (just look up go mental gold =P) Oooo the createivity oozed from that bad boy! Makes a change from commercial dance 80's remixes.does original dance music exist anymore or todays sooper producers just use good old tried and tested: chorus of old tune + new oober koolio brums = mtv dance Their's loads of remix's of old songs or tracks with very similar lyrics ) Kaos has made loads of hardcore remix's of 80's tracks. I like music from the 1980's but when it comes to a commercial remix of an 80's tune that i like then it would piss me off, but there are some 80's hardcore remixes that i like (the hard to say im sorry remix on bonkers 1 for example)Ī topic i made a few months ago about my hatred of crappy 80's commercial remixes Voodoo Posse - Love is (fade & Bananaman mix) Strictly hardcore presents Illegal Rave Vol 2 Mixed by Slipmatt
I think Sy was the one that did the one that went "Close your eyes, every now and then I get alittle bit closer." Best things to do is download old skool mixes and most likely you will see a bunch of 80's remixes. The ones that comes to mind is Luna c -Old Skool To New Skool. Vinylgroover did a Hardcore version of Time After Time called Time.Īlot of the older stuff was 80's remix. I'm not sure who sang time after time but there has been both hardcore and club remix made of it I belive that quiet alot of older hardcore was remixes of old pop songs or dance/ house music. Take on me has had a few remix by Hixxy called Aha from 1996 (It's on Hixxy's mix of Bonkers 1) Also Paul Elstak's luv you more was made around 1995 and Stu Allen has done a remix which is on his mix of Hardcore Nation 1. I know that Tina Cousins - Hymn (Gammer & G-Spencer Mix) is one but is there anymore? Therefore im askin if anyone knows of any 80s songs that have had hardcore mixes of them. I love it even better when a hardcore version of an 80s tune is made. I love 80s music and I love hardcore music.
